Abstract	介绍了作者近年所发展的高精度差分格式，给出了两类格式精度的分析方法，分析了粘性项差分逼近所引入的耗散量低亏效应。文中按群速度将格式分为快型、慢型和混合型三类。对每类格式分析了高频波的传播特性。指出，模拟多尺度流场结构采用高精度格式是需要的。对高频波运动规律的分析可用以解释激波附近数值解中产生的非物理振动荡的原因，和指导如何提高激波捕捉的能力。
